- I'm 61, married to my BFF, and quite happy with that. I'm in recovery from a stroke (4.5 yrs ago) that cost me my R side, so my building is accomplished one-handed. And, at least so far, flying is out of the question for lack of proper coordination in the R hand. But I can't ride my GoldWing either, so it all evens out.

- As mentioned above, I don't fly...yet. But before "my head blew up" I had hundreds of hrs. on my RealFlight sim.

- Have you ever flown a pure sailplane? I flew power stuff and FF back when I was a kid and just got back into RC a couple years ago. Went straight to sailplanes and got hooked big time after I caught my first hour flight with a bunch of gulls. There's something about silent flight and the challenges involved dealing strictly with mother nature...I love it...

- well i've been flying for a while but the sim is teaching me loads, i'm getting better everyday, figured out a bunch of stuff i was itching to learn. having fun with the ds ridgeline now. very tricky at first!

- BTW, I have a buddy who had a series (4) of strokes in a 2 week span and it went undiagnosed until he could barely stand. It got his left side. It's been 2 years now and he's doing pretty damn good. Still not perfect control but every day he gets better. I'm sure you'll do just fine :).
